{Locally Found} Lip Lab Lovin’

Without a doubt the best thing about living in the country is the fresh air, the worse thing is the fact that we don’t always get to experience exciting, new innovations like those that live in the big smoke.

Thank goodness the team at Macquarie Medi Spa has now answered our prayers and bought out west The Lip Lab. makeup

The Lip Lab is an exciting innovation that lets you customise your very own lipstick. That’s right, you choose the exact personalised colour that you like.

You meet with one of your colour consultants (I was lucky enough to meet the gorgeous Andrea) and she helps you choose your colour, mix the necessary ingredients and voilà you have your very own lippy.

I love the fact that you even get to name it yourself, let me introduce you to Sloane – my very own lipstick. sloane

Now, take my word for it when I say this lippy lasts! I applied it at 9am and it was still going great guns after lunch and onto dinner. I hate lipsticks that need to be applied every 20 minutes and these do not need to be! WINNING!

Plus, I can ring Macquarie Medi Spa and ask them to whip me up another ‘Sloane’ at anytime, which is entirely fantastic considering I can never remember the type of lippy I like!

The great idea behind the launch of The Lip Lab in Orange is that it is a great solution for girly catch ups, bridal showers or hen’s nights. I really recommend grabbing a group of gal pals and contacting Karla and the team on 02 6324 5552 today group

{The Nest How-To) Beautify yourself DIY style

In an absolutely perfect world I would have unlimited money, endless sleep and infinite beauty supplies.

In reality, I have like 14 bucks, perhaps two hours sleep last night and a mascara that I am pretty sure expired in 2013.

So when I stumble across something almost luxurious that is relaxing, doesn’t cost a maserati and does not take a brain surgeon degree to create then I jump for joy.

Here we have discovered a DIY Homemade Rose Body Scrub Recipe WOO! scrub

This is perfect to make this weekend.

Plus, what a fantastic gift idea!

Happy creating (and ultimate relaxing) Nesters!

The best thing about Cocobel is that the products are made with love. What started out as a personal project for Annabel has turned into a thriving business. Each item that you purchase from Cocobel is personally handmade and packaged. There are natural and fresh and revitalising. image (1)
