This great little business offers something for everyone, from bows to lanyards, from sparkly gems to headbands. There is literally something for every occasion.
Our friends at Little Bumble Bugs can personalise your team colours or even create a bow just for you.
They make fantastic presents and stocking fillers. They would be incredible party favours or kris kringle gifts. I even have a few stashed away in the linen cupboard for all those sneaky kids birthday parties.
Little Bumble Bugs offer boutique bows, headbands and non-slip clips in various sizes for babies to adults.
There is a truly beautiful story behind Imperfectly Perfect Sugar Cookies, Tanya has an acquired spinal cord injury and following that realised that sometimes the imperfect things are often the most perfect. Each cookie is handmade with love, showcasing the real meaning of soul food.
It’s like a secret wonderland opposite the park in Bathurst. It’s overflowing with fun, adventure and excitement. It’s none other than Cosventure!
Cosventure is owned and operated by gorgeous Katherine Palma and offers costume sales and hire, SFX makeup and body art, pop culture collectables, LARP gear and cosplay building supplies.
Cosventure has been keeping the people of Bathurst and surrounding areas dressed in the funnest of all attire for over 4 years now. I think what makes this business so special is that they took a gamble to open a shop this unique in a country town and the locals have supported them from day one. Cosventure doesn’t forget that so will go over and beyond to keep their customers coming back!
What I love is their wide range of stock and friendly customer service. Nothing is ever too hard and they will always ensure you have a positive shopping experience.
Trust me when I say the moment you step into Cosventure you are walking into a visual delight that is sure to entertain all members of your family.
If you need some fun in your life then pop into Cosventure today!
The best thing about Christmas isn’t the gifts or carols. It’s not Santa or lights.
It’s the simple things.
It’s the sitting around a table with your family and friends celebrating the year that was. Celebrating the love that surrounds us all. What makes that even nicer is if you crack open a bottle of something from the Stone Pine Distillery.
Owned and operated by Bev and Ian Glen (Ian is the Distiller) and located on Gormans Hill Road, Bathurst Stone Pine Distillery is a rare gem.
Bev and Ian emigrated from Scotland 12 years ago with 2 small children and their dog! They spent two years building and setting up the Distillery and have been in operation for over 10 years now!
Stone Pine Distillery is a boutique Distillery that produces premium quality hand crafted spirits and liqueurs. Their products include several types of gin including Orange Blossom and Truffle to name just a couple. They also offer citrus infused vodka and the notorious Dead Man’s Drop which is a delicious dark spiced rum.
On top of all that they also have various liqueurs including Limoncello (my fave!), honey liqueur and a brand new Cabernet Brandy Liqueur. This liqueur was pot distilled then aged for six years in a french oak barrique, prior to being married with grape juice. What this means is that it is a fruity, ruby-red liqueur that matches perfectly with your Christmas Puddin’!
Stone Pine Distillery have just released the Decade Gin. This gin celebrates their first 10 years and utilises ten botanicals to deliver a rounded, juniper-forward flavour with a subtle complexity.
It’s really important to get behind this great local business because they were the first Distillery set up in the Central West and still the only ones operating in the Bathurst/Orange area.
One of the best features is that Stone Pine Distillery always try and source their ingredients locally and love utilising Australian Native Botanicals.
They have just released their Decade Gin to celebrate their first 10 years. It utilises ten botanicals to deliver a rounded, Juniper-forward flavour with subtle complexity.
If you want to get your gorgeous mits on some Stone Pine Distillery deliciousness then you can find their products in many local bottle shops across Bathurst (Cobb and Co Cellars, the Nickerbocker Bottleshop, Bernardi’s IGA) and in Orange (Ferment, The Agrestic Grocer and the Rugby Bottleshop)
You can even find them at the Orange Christmas Farmers Markets on Saturday 8 December 2018 or the Bathurst Farmer’s Markets on Saturday 15th of December 2018.
The beaut team at Stone Pine Distillery want to make your Christmas more merry and so are giffting to one very lucky nester a bottle of Stone Pine Original Dry Gin and a bottle of the superb Cabernet Brand Liqueur. Oh yes please! I wish I could just keep these ones for me – I love me some gin!

We LOVE Ivory Rose Botanicals! Not only do they do amazing floral art masterpieces but they are genuinely the nicest, friendliest store of people you will ever walk into.
Located in George Street, Bathurst you will not have to look far to see one of the most amazing window displays in all of the area, they take great care decorating and staging a window like no other. The shop is stunning even before you walk in the door.
Ivory Rose Botanicals has grown from a home studio to one of the most successful businesses in town in such a short time. It’s a family run and operated business open 6 days a week. What sets Maddie and her team apart is that fact that you aren’t just a customer when you walk in, you quickly become part of the family.
Maddie has some wonderful staff working alongside her including a number of ladies from Vivability who make Ivory Rose Botanicals just that little bit more lovely. She also supports a couple of talented up and coming florists to the business and aims to prove that those with ability (and as a self employed working mummy) can achieve the greatest of goals. (p.s watch this space for the upcoming Power of Ability launch!)
Ivory Rose Botanicals is different from the rest because they push the boundaries of floral art to ensure each one of their pieces are uniquely designed to entice the senses. They rely on the ‘fresh is best’ policy and only order enough stock to turn over every two days to ensure you only ever receive the highest quality produce.
What I love about Ivory Rose Botanicals are the fact that you can also get super hands on. Maddie and the team hold workshops where you can learn floral art and create your own magnificent masterpieces in a fun and supportive atmosphere. They even have Christmas workshops!
Maddie and the generous team at Ivory Rose Botanicals want to make your Christmas even more special so are offering one lucky winner a beautiful bouquet of flowers plus a mini hamper of the goodies they stock in store valued at $170!
One of the coolest local businesses that has taken off lately is LaserAntix!
Owned and operated by the delightfully, friendly Tara Manvell LaserAntix is your one-stop shop for all custom laser cutting and engraving.
LaserAntix is a home based business run by a fantastic mama to two little tiny tots. The business was launched as a creative outlet for Tara in October 2017 and with the help of the local community has grown significantly.
LaserAntix can create a wide range of products for you including cake toppers, gifts and home decor such as name plaques, wall plaques, name discs, decorative cutouts, Christmas decorations and business signage.
They can even help decorate your dream day by creating wedding decorative pieces such as Mr & Mrs Signs, place cards, invitations and menu boards.
LaserAntix offers natural bamboo in 2 shares as well as a wide range of acrylic colour so you can be sure you will find something to suit all tastes and needs.
Tara says she loves nothing more than working closely with people to design and create something perfect for them.
A big bonus is that LaserAntix is local so the turn around is a lot quicker than buying online from somewhere else. Plus you save on shipping fees! Tara is also happy to accommodate urgent orders and you can even sometimes find her completing an order within hours of being contacted.
We had one of Tara’s creations atop of Tommy’s Christening Cake and not only was it was a showstopper, I was able to keep a special reminder of his day!
LaserAntix is a business you should watch because I guarantee it’s going places! If you want your very own personalised creation get in contact with Tara today:
