We have some pretty hard girl crushes. These are the types of ladies that stamp their style on the world. They are the type of people that will always be remembered and little girls grow up wanting to be. They are women of substance. Women that make the world a better place. Happy Girl Crush Tuesday everybody.
Today we are hearting hard on the gorgeous Aimee Cook from Aimee Cook Photography.
Aimee Cook is a local lady who loves capturing the important moments and sharing them for everyone to see. Aimee is a baby, family and wedding photographer based in Bathurst. She is creative, talented and above all, completely lovely.
One of the most wonderful things about Aimee is that she started the Beautiful-You campaign. This is a program that allows parents of children with special needs to obtain photographs of their little superheros at no cost. Aimee offers a safe environment for these children to flourish which in turn allows Aimee to capture the perfect moments of childhood without a judgmental stare. What I love most about the Beautiful-You project is that it provides a place for children to be children while mum and dad are gifted with special memories for always.
Aimee loves being involved in the local community and regularly donates her time and skillset wherever she can.
Thanks Aimee for showing all little girls that through hard work and a kind heart you really can make the world around you a better place.
We have found the absolute CUTEST EtSY store ever!

I initially saw this about a year ago and it has stuck with me since.
A moment in time that I will remember.
I remember my sister sending my the link and telling me I had to have a look.
I did and it moved me.
This is one of the most beautifully powerful things I have ever seen.
After the death of his wife, a father and daughter recreated the photos from the wedding.

It is sweet and love and life all in a couple of images.

By far one of the most beautiful ways we have EVER seen of asking a beautiful friend to be your bridesmaid.
It is an honour, a privilege so you may as well give them a lifelong keepsake.

Local photographer Aimee Cook is making a difference. She is making a stand against the norm and celebrating the smiles of some very special little children.
Her latest project ‘Beautiful You’ is moving, strong and remarkably generous.
You can check it out on her blog -> Aimee Cook ‘Beautiful You’.
The first life she captured as part of the project just happens to be one of our favourite little Nesters, Darius. You can find his story here -> ‘Special Needs a mother’s story’
The Nest salutes Aimee for taking the time to create such a beautiful project.
I have a confession to make. I am an absolute sucker for Peter Pan collars.
I’m not so sure exactly why I love them so but I really, really do.
Plus – you know.. all the cool kids are doing it (check out DKNY (right), Giambattista Valli (centre), and Louis Vuitton)
So because most of us do not have the coin (or enough combined creditcards that the husband won’t find out about) to purchase Louis Vuitton’s latest pieces here is a great DIY made by the fabulous team at HonestlyWTF.
Happy creating my little stylish Nesters x
