{Christmas Prizeapolooza 2016} Lush Lips love the Lip Lab

macquaUnless you have been living under a rock you would have heard me yak on and on about this one time I got to create my very own lipstick with the girls from Macquarie Medispa. They have bought to our area the  Lip Lab which is just the most fabulous thing ever.

I went and experienced the fun of the  Lip Lab a little while ago – in fact you can read about my fun night out here -> The Central Nest went Lip Labbing but in case you missed it, the Lip Lab at Macquarie Medispa in Orange is the first of its kind in the area.

The Lip Lab is an exciting innovation that lets you customise your very own lipstick. You get to choose the colour, whether it’s lipstick or gloss and even the scent! lip

You meet with one of your colour consultants who takes you step by step through the process to create your very own masterpiece!

Just to top it off you get to name your own lipstick so that the girls can recreate it for you again in the future! For a long time Macquarie Medispa has been ahead of the curve and this is another great example.

{Locally Found} Lip Lab Lovin’

Without a doubt the best thing about living in the country is the fresh air, the worse thing is the fact that we don’t always get to experience exciting, new innovations like those that live in the big smoke.

Thank goodness the team at Macquarie Medi Spa has now answered our prayers and bought out west The Lip Lab. makeup

The Lip Lab is an exciting innovation that lets you customise your very own lipstick. That’s right, you choose the exact personalised colour that you like.

You meet with one of your colour consultants (I was lucky enough to meet the gorgeous Andrea) and she helps you choose your colour, mix the necessary ingredients and voilà you have your very own lippy.

I love the fact that you even get to name it yourself, let me introduce you to Sloane – my very own lipstick. sloane

Now, take my word for it when I say this lippy lasts! I applied it at 9am and it was still going great guns after lunch and onto dinner. I hate lipsticks that need to be applied every 20 minutes and these do not need to be! WINNING!

Plus, I can ring Macquarie Medi Spa and ask them to whip me up another ‘Sloane’ at anytime, which is entirely fantastic considering I can never remember the type of lippy I like!

The great idea behind the launch of The Lip Lab in Orange is that it is a great solution for girly catch ups, bridal showers or hen’s nights. I really recommend grabbing a group of gal pals and contacting Karla and the team on 02 6324 5552 today group

{The Nest Can Cook} DIY Marinated Fetta

So, without naming names, someone very special to me LOVES fetta. She stumbled across some ‘marinated dukkah fetta’ recently when we went away and now can’t let it go. We can’t find it ANYWHERE so I am endeavouring to bombard her with recipes until she starts making her own!

I have found a nice, easy recipe for marinated fetta from Minimally Invasive.

Okay, admittedly it nearly uses your body amount in oil and cheese but, hey, let’s go with it. We all know it is only a sometimes food!

We think this would be fabulous at your next barbecue, imagine being able to tell your guests that you actually MADE the antipasto platter (instead of buying it from the team at Woolies!)

Enjoy Nesters!
