A few months ago I received a Thermomix from my very generous hubby-bird and to say I am addicted to it is an understatement.

Like if I had to choose between it and I don’t know, like one of my children I would probably hesitate.

The fantastic comedic duo Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan have put together the most hilarious ‘review’ of the Thermomix.

I kid you not, when I say you may wee a smidge when watching this. It is sidesplitting-probably-need-to-work-on-my-pelvic-muscles funny.

P.S If you are my infant person reading this in years to come from some therapist’s office, I am tots joking about not choosing my child over the Thermerelda. I always choose you.

‘It is time to act on our watch’ is confronting, provoking and brave.

Domestic violence in NSW is at a 15 year high according to the Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research.

You know what’s worse, those people who we share regional NSW with, are more likely to be affected. That means YOUR friend, YOUR sister, YOUR workmate.

It is an epidemic that needs to be addressed, especially by the young future leaders.

Watch this. Pass on the message. Be strong and stand up together.

Fight domestic violence. Protect our daughters. Protect our sons. Make a change.

Please protect each other Nesters, enough really is enough.

A gorgeous person I know recently shared this beautiful short video that really contains one of the most important messages you will hear.

The ongoing battle of empathy verses sympathy is remarkably difficult to break, but really, your reaction to another’s situation can make the biggest of differences.

I, myself am guilty of ‘silver lining things’ that are tough, hard or difficult to discuss. The beauty about this film is that it shows the importance of creating a genuine empathetic connection with another person.

Please, for the sake of every other person that you share this world with, take the time to watch this video.

I am not sure I am that committed, I just wack it in the freezer and feed it to the hubby-bird in his work lunch for the next week.

{This is life} Sweet & Sour Babies

Okay, so sometimes I am a terrible human being and find slightly inappropriate things funny. Like, take for example, babies eating lemons.

Look, quite simply, it is hilarious. Well, it was until my second baby-bird just happily ate lemons, that was way less exciting.

Amazingly enough, someone, somewhere in the world also finds babies eating lemons entertaining, so much so they went to actual effort to compose a video.

It is well worth the watch.
