We have some pretty hard girl crushes. These are the types of ladies that stamp their style on the world. They are the type of people that will always be remembered and little girls grow up wanting to be. They are women of substance. Women that make the world a better place. Happy Girl Crush Tuesday everybody.Today we salute the powerhouse that is Constance Hall.

A blogger, writer and delightful over-sharer Constance breaks down the boundaries like no other. Her insights into parenting, marriage and life in general are remarkable and well, honest. She lets women everywhere know that they are not alone.

Not only does she write brilliant (and often hilarious) posts, but she uses her overwhelming social media pedestal for good. She raised over $150,000.00 in just one day to help the charity, Rafiki Mwema that helps abused women in Kenya. There aren’t many people with the cult following that Constance enjoys who would use their social media power for such a good and selfless cause.

Constance wants every single women to know they are Queens and together we can support each other.

She fights the good fight.

She has written a book so read that.

She has a website, so visit that.

She is a downright legend who reminds us all to live your best life, regardless of what cards you have been dealt.

Thanks Con for letting my little girls know it is okay to be brave in the everyday.

{Girl Crush Tuesday} The remarkably powerful Julie

Whether you support liberal, labor, greens or other I believe you would be hard-pressed not to respect Julie Bishop.

She always holds herself with confidence, is aware of her words and rarely puts a foot wrong.

She is a very powerful Australian woman, who shows all little girls that women can make a difference.

Julie was sworn in as Australia’s first female Foreign Minister on 18 September 2013. She has a law degree and was a practising solicitor prior to her entry into politics. She is now the deputy leader of the Liberal Party.

Thank you Julie for displaying real girl power in a very male driven industry, I imagine there are plenty of little ladies around the country who will aspire to be like you one day.

{Girl Crush Tuesday} The remarkable Deborra-Lee

We have some pretty hard girl crushes. These are the types of ladies that stamp their style on the world. They are the type of people that will always be remembered and little girls grow up wanting to be. They are women of substance. Women that make the world a better place. Happy Girl Crush Tuesday everybody. Today’s girl crush is on the fabulous Deborra-Lee Furness. Deborra is an outstanding person on SO. MANY. LEVELS.

She started her career as an actor and even studied at the acclaimed American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.

While she has had significant success in the acting field it is her charity work that really amazes us. What makes Deborra-Lee so remarkable is her endless drive to create a better world. She has campaigned tirelessly to bring to the foreground the issues associated with adoption in Australia and around the world.

She is placing the limelight heavily on the need for action and change to find little people some loving homes sooner rather than later. She has been named the 2015 NSW Australian of the Year for her work as a child advocate and adoption campaigner.

On a personal level she is the mother to two beautiful children, Oscar and Ava and married to some guy named Hugh Jackman(!)

She is style. She is honest. She is Aussie gal done good.

Thank you from the bottom of our very grateful hearts Deborra-Lee for showing all little girls what hard work, perseverance and good intentions can do. We salute you.

Today’s girl crush is on the brilliant Erin Molan.

Erin is a pioneer in Australian television insofar as she is breaking the glass ceiling for girls everywhere. She is not afraid to show people that you need to be treated correctly. She won’t stand for bullying and she is very successful in a heavily male driven industry.

You will have seen Erin on The Footy Show, offering a powerful voice to the many female fans of NRL. She holds her own and is a brilliant addition to the panel. She is a sport commentator, journalist and all-round entertainer.

She possesses a fantastic style and confidence that shines through. She is intelligent, witty and informative.

We thank you Erin for giving our little girls an example of just how a woman can succeed in an area that not many women have been before.

Today’s girl crush is on the fantastically talented and very successful Jackie Frank.

Jackie is the editor and publisher of Marie Claire Australia. She is powerfully smart and epitomises girl power at its absolute finest.

Professionally, together with her fantastic team she has bought Marie Claire Australia to the forefront of any fashion lovers bookshelf and is officially the go-to for any fashion conscious Australian woman. Quite remarkably, Marie Claire Australia in combination with its sister editions are read by thirteen million women in 26 countries each month. As further evidence of the success achieved while being captained by Jackie, Marie Claire Australia was recognised as Magazine of the year in 2001 at the Magazine Publishers of Australia Awards.

What makes Jackie even more remarkable is that she is not afraid to voice her opinion when something just doesn’t seem right. She stands up for women’s rights and is publically known for her stand against models who are unhealthily thin. She is also completely passionate about equal marriage in Australia, and across the world.

As if editing Australia’s most beautiful magazine is not enough, Jackie is also successful personally as a mother to two beautiful children.

This local lady is creative, determined and friendly. She is talented, innovative and smart.

If you are a regular reader of The Central Nest, you will know our ongoing addiction to all things Incy. Even as I type this, I can hear the tiny snores of my one year old from the comfort of her ‘Jemima Cot’ that was purchased from Incy a couple of years ago. Today’s girl crush is none other than the remarkable Kristy Withers of Incy Interiors.

Kristy is an absolute rockstar when it comes to all things interior design. Her fabulous style and eye for detail makes her a front runner in the competitive market of little people furniture and design.

Kristy offers a fresh take on interior design and produces good quality products that are functional, beautiful and timeless.

What we love about the delightful Kristy is that she not only manages to run a fantastically booming business but you will often find her personally behind the counter of her local store. Plus, somehow she manages to make time for her true loves, her husband, children and rest of the family.

Kristy is a true businesswoman with a background in marketing and a desire to create good quality, practical products for little humans.

Michelle Bridges is pretty cool, not only is she a fierce businesswoman and master entrepreneur but she is also funny and smart, clever and beautiful. Plus, she has a rocking bod.

But, the real reason why Michelle is someone who we respect is because she actually helps people change. She transforms lives. She saves people.

Undoubtedly, Australia’s number one fitness identity, she combines support, heart-warming compassion and tough love to help people make changes. Her 12 Week Body Transformation has helped thousands of people to shed weight and find a better version of themselves (myself included!)

Not only is she one remarkable person in the fitness industry, she is more than that. She regularly supports and donates time, money and awareness to the RSPCA, National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Black Dog Institute.
