This is one of my absolute favourite businesses in this year’s giveaway, in fact, I am smelling one of her incredible candles as I type this!

Firefly Earth is owned and operated by the gorgeous Trudey Bailey and offers pure soy triple scented candles.

Firefly was born 10 years ago, when Trudey’s baby was 11 months old and after a trip to Canada to visit family, Trudey noticed just how many homes she visited had candles burning. The candle culture was massive in the northern hemisphere, and she says she was all in after that trip.

Trudey says the problem she faced back in Australia was that if she wanted a triple scented candle that packed a fragrance punch, she could only find them in paraffin. Australia had various ranges of soy candles but the fragrance seemed to be a little light on. Trudey says she didn’t feel comfortable burning paraffin around her baby so decided to create her own!

The thing that sets Firefly Earth apart is the brilliant business strategy. She has streamlined all her products to make it so much easier for consumers. Some companies may offer up to 30 different fragrance’s which is great for consumers who love bulk choice. Trudey says that after observing her sale trends over the years she made the decision to take more of a minimalistic approach and not overwhelm the bejesus out of her customers.
