We have some pretty hard girl crushes. These are the types of ladies that stamp their style on the world. They are the type of people that will always be remembered and little girls grow up wanting to be. They are women of substance. Women that make the world a better place. Happy Girl Crush Tuesday everybody.

Today we salute the fantastically talented Delta Goodrem.

Delta is undeniably Australia’s princess of pop and has one of the best voices that the country has ever heard. She is an actor, a performer, a presenter, a songwriter and even a judge on the Australian version of the voice.

Delta is amazing not only on the stage but more importantly behind the limelight. She is a cancer survivor who regularly supports many charities including even donating a portion of her concert proceeds to the Delta Goodrem Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Trust Fund. She is also an ambassador for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Delta also supports RADD (Recording Artists, Actors And Athletes Against Drunk Driving), to help raise awareness of the risks of drunk driving.

Delta is the epitome of a superstar and shows all little girls, that through hard work, perseverance and genuine Australian spirit girls really can run the world.

{The Nest Loves} Lulu & Milly are all things nice

There has been a recent resurgance in bow ties. No, I am not talking wrapped begrudgingly around your hubby’s neck to a wedding kinda bow, but the more petite, delicate, bloody stinkin’ cute variety.

Lulu and Milly offer the most adorable little bow beanies we did ever see!

What we love is that the beanie part is super duper practical for tiny little heads and the bow adds a nice girly detail!

They also have gorgeous headbands that will add to any outfit!

{Girl Crush Tuesday} Surfs up and so is our love of this lady..

Not only is she the leader of the pack in her chosen field: surfing, she is tough, happy and smart.

Stephanie is an Australian professional surfer who has been world champion SIX TIMES! She leads by example and has stamped her authority on surfing.

She also has a very successful media/sponsorship career with many of Australia’s most high profile brands knocking on her door.

Steph is an honest and vocal ambassador for good health and encourages people to embrace their own strengths, their own wellbeing and imperfections.

She is a perfect role model for little grommets everywhere and shows all little girls that if you work hard, have dedication and desire then you really can rule the world.

{Girl Crush Tuesday} The remarkable Deborra-Lee

She started her career as an actor and even studied at the acclaimed American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.

While she has had significant success in the acting field it is her charity work that really amazes us. What makes Deborra-Lee so remarkable is her endless drive to create a better world. She has campaigned tirelessly to bring to the foreground the issues associated with adoption in Australia and around the world.

She is placing the limelight heavily on the need for action and change to find little people some loving homes sooner rather than later. She has been named the 2015 NSW Australian of the Year for her work as a child advocate and adoption campaigner.

On a personal level she is the mother to two beautiful children, Oscar and Ava and married to some guy named Hugh Jackman(!)

She is style. She is honest. She is Aussie gal done good.

Thank you from the bottom of our very grateful hearts Deborra-Lee for showing all little girls what hard work, perseverance and good intentions can do. We salute you.

Today’s girl crush is on the fantastically, brilliant and ever opinionated Ita Buttrose.

The golden girl of Australian media, she is fierce, strong and incredibly beautiful. She is a powerful businesswoman with a mind for success who isn’t afraid to push boundaries.

Ita embodies the Australian spirit and is a champion for many charities and causes. She is passionately involved with Alzheimer’s Australia and Arthritis Australia. She is also involved with World Vision. She uses her national profile to raise awareness of breast cancer, HIV/AIDS and prostate cancer.

Ita is always immaculately presented and speaks with poise about many issues. She is a voice to the people and a voice of reason.

She is by far one of the best idols little ladies could aspire to be.

Thank you Ita for being an amazing inspiration to many Australians.

This gorgeous lady not only imprints her authority all over her sport, but stands up for what she believes in and shows that with hard work you really can achieve your dreams.

Torah Bright is an Australian snowboarding champion. She is single-handedly re-writing the record books and was the first and only person in the world to qualify and compete in 3 snowboard events at the 2014 Winter Games. She is a world champion and absolute star.

Torah is tough, powerful and strong. She is friendly, passionate and fun. Torah is a real life superhero.

Thanks Torah for being an absolute Australian superstar that gives my little girls someone to admire.

{Girl Crush Tuesday} The Speedy Sally

Happy Girl Crush Tuesday everybody.

Today we send high fives to the gorgeous Sally Pearson.

She is quintessentially Australia’s darling of track and field. Not only is she an absolute athletic superstar (winning Olympic gold medals and world championships) but she is also a bubbly, lovely, good hearted person filled with passion and determination.

In 2014, Australia formally acknowledged her awesomeness and Sally was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for her contribution to sport.

Off the track Sally is a huge lover of animals, she donates time to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Animal Welfare League Queensland. She is also a proud supporter of Golden Ark Rescue Australia.

Showing that hard work, perseverance and distinct talent can take you anywhere, Sally really is a role model for little girls everywhere.

{Girl Crush Tuesday} The fascinating Carrie

She is incredibly smart, well articulated and witty. She is glamorous and generous.

Carrie Bickmore is honestly one of our favourite Australian people. She has showed that hard work and perseverance can pay off and even land you the job of presenting one of Australia’s most informative and entertaining television shows, The Project.

Carrie also handles the gig of presenting ‘So you think you can dance Australia’ with class, finesse and style.

In her private life she has experienced the hardest of times that could ever be expected of a person and has come through shining the other side.

Not only is she a superstar in her career but she manages to balance the role of mother to her son, Oliver.

Thank you to the gorgeous Carrie for giving my little girls someone to look up to.
