{ANZAC Day} Saluting our forefathers who laid down their lives for us

ANZAC day is possibly the most important day in the Australian calendar.

It is a day of remembrance and respect. Saluting our forefathers who laid down their lives for us.

You should make your way to dawn service at the Carillion at 4.30am. If you haven’t done this before it is completely worth the effort. It is sombre and powerful.

If you are unable to make the dawn service then take the family to the 10.45am Commemoration Service also at the Carillion.

Also tomorrow are the Soldiers’ Saddle Race Day at Tyres Park.
