Mr & Mrs Campbell – A day of love, laughter and family

“I love you more than there are stars in the sky and fish in the sea.”   – Nicholas Sparks

A girl I have been lucky enough to have known for a long time recently married her sweetheart. They are beautiful people inside and out and the Central Nest wishes them all the best for their future together.

The love birds: Adam Campbell & Clarissa Booth

The wedding party: Best Man – John Rudge – Maid of Honour – Alysha Booth – Page Boy – Oliver Bestwick

Ceremony: Algona at Mount Panorama Estate under a beautiful rotunda in front of the vineyard.

Reception: Also at Algona. The function room has spectacular views over Bathurst & is stunning by night looking out over all the lights.

It was important to us to have the ceremony & reception in the one place so our guests could arrive & enjoy themselves without having to find something to do while we had our photos.

Theme: Classic and timeless with a colour palette of white and latte.

We chose to have a formal dress code which our friends loved! The boys love to ‘suit up’ and the girls had the chance to be glamorous.

The Dress: My dress wasn’t what I thought I wanted. The exact opposite actually. But when I saw it, I instantly fell in the love. I found it from a bridal shop in Parramatta.

It was a white, gorgeous sweet heart strapless corset, covered in crystals. With a full skirt from the waist down, full of beautiful ruffles with a train. As soon as I put it on I felt instantly like a princess.

Groom & wedding party attire: Adam, his best man & page boy, were dressed by Ben at Bent Threads Bathurst. They wore dark grey suits with matching vests, white shirts and latte coloured ties.

My gorgeous Maid of Honour wore a full length one shouldered latte coloured dress.

Decorations: White table clothes with white chair covers and latte sashes. The centrepieces were tall martini glasses filled with arrangements of white roses & greenery perched on top of round mirrors.

We also bought into the reception the two tall pillars of white roses and greenery that were used at the ceremony.

Food: The food was prepared by Algona and was absolutely delicious! Food was another really important factor for us as it is one of the things guests will remember. We had a range of canapés served while we had our photos taken, mains were beef & chicken then we had our cake as dessert.

We also had a lolly bar. The theme for this was white, red & pink with a range of different lollies from Westco.

Cake: Our cake was made by a friend – Nikki Burden.

She created a 2 tier cake with chocolate mud and cherry ripe mud layers. The cake was consistent with our classic theme and was covered with a pearly white ganash. We also placed an arrangement of flowers that matched our bouquets on top of the cake.

Drinks: We had an open bar serving beer, wine & soft drink.

Photographer: Both Adam & I, along with my parents, agreed that we wanted a photographer that was going to capture our day and take those amazing shots that we can look back on in years to come & show our children. I cannot recommend Peter Gumpert. photographer enough.

Cars: We had two red mustangs. My father and I arrived in a soft top convertible mustang.

Rings: Adam found my ring in a jewellery shop in Pitt Street Sydney. It is a solitaire diamond in a claw setting with small diamonds down each side set in 18ct white gold. We then had the jeweller make my wedding band to match. Adams wedding band is from Michael Hill jeweller – a two toned titanium ring.

Hair/Make up: My hair was done by Emma from Hair by Hair. I had a classic chignon which was nice & simple as my dress was quite detailed. My makeup and nails were done from one of my best friends Robyn Tomlinson.

Music: We had a live band play at the reception called LKQ. They are a two piece band and absolutely fantastic. We had them play at our engagement party so we new they were going to be great!

Stationary: We had our wedding invitations designed and made from a lady locally. Again, we stuck to our white and latte theme with beautiful script writing.

Special moments: There were so many special moments from getting ready with my mum, Maria and my sister, Alysha at the beautiful cottage at Lochinvar at Mount Panorama, to my dad walking me down the aisle to Rod Stewart’s classic ‘Have I told you lately’. I remember seeing Adam at the end of the aisle and my heart skipping a beat.

My most favourite moment was when Adam & I read our own vows we wrote for each other. He had every single guest in tears. It was absolutely the most touching moment.

My dad bought me to tears with his speech… and so did my new husband. Adam said his most favourite moment was when we were introduced as Mr & Mrs Campbell to everyone at our reception and he was pretty chuffed about his vows and the fact that everyone was sobbing. He even had a few tears himself reading them!

Adam & I honestly had the best day of our lives followed by a wonderful honeymoon to Hawaii. We thank my parents Grant & Maria Booth for supporting us then & supporting us now and for giving us the wedding we always dreamt of. We can’t express just how much we love you! We also thank our bridal party, my sister and our best mate John Rudge, for helping to make our day so amazing.
