If you are looking for something special to do this weekend, go and check out Leah & Marnie.

Leah & Marnie are a singer-song writing duo consisting of two female vocalists, two guitars & the occasional additional instrument.

The duo/long-time best friends first got together musically in 2009 during their HSC when the opportunity arose to participate in a weekly singer song writer night. Since then they have performed a few small gigs around town such as charity events, weddings and other get-togethers.

Whilst mainly perform covers, they will throw in an original piece every now and then.

Leah and Marnie have an folky, alternative, acoustic sound that ranges from soft and chilled out to soul mama & up-beat. I am told they do a couple of brilliant acoustic rap songs, as well loveable classics.

You can check them out on Saturday 5th October 2013 at the Farmers Arms Hotel on Vale Road. They will kick off about 5pm and go through to 8pm.
